FlawSome! was a treat, especially when we’re talking about the price. Because I bought it in a hospital café, it cost three times more than I would normally pay. It’s not the drink’s fault, but it’s something I’ll think about every time I see it.

The Apple & Cherry flavour is quite mild, with the cherry sitting somewhere in the background behind the apple. All in all, it’s a nice, refreshing drink—but one I’d only buy if there was nothing else in the shop.

White Peach Fanta in a fancy bottle is definitely a thing, especially when it’s nice and cold. To be honest, I never knew there were different types of peaches. For me, a peach is a peach—but who am I to judge?

The most important thing is that I enjoyed the drink. What’s more, I’d buy it again. Since it’s the Japanese version of Fanta, that might not be so easy. We’re clearly far too boring when it comes to the flavours of our drinks.

London Coffee Festival 2026

London Coffee Festival 2026

Another London Coffee Festival is done. Another busy one. I was only there on the last day, but the venue was crowded. There was something different compared to previous events. There were far more stands promoting different types of matcha. I’m personally not a massive fan, but it shows that matcha is becoming very popular. I wonder if that’s just a short-term craze or if it will stay with us for longer. There were also more stands promoting their teas.

That said, the coffee presence was still very strong. As you walk in, you are greeted by the guys from Area 51 Coffee. They were presenting their new flavour. Although, I must say, I prefer the original one with the hint of coconut. Then there were the guys from Spacegoods with their mushroom coffee. I was really impressed with it, to the point that I’m ordering a bag for myself.

In general, it was another great event, and I’m looking forward to the next one.

Peach, Ginger & Fish Bones: The Unexpected Trio

Peach, Ginger & Fish Bones: The Unexpected Trio

Today I’m trying an Icelandic Ginger & Peach COLLAB drink with fish collagen. The first thing you notice is the smell. It’s very distinctive. I tried to pinpoint what it was exactly, but I’m still not sure. Luckily, it didn’t smell like fish. I don’t think I would’ve been able to handle that.

Once you get used to the smell, it’s time for the taste. And honestly, it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I was worried the ginger would completely take over, but I was pleasantly surprised. Peach is actually the main flavour you notice most. Admittedly, it doesn’t stay with you for very long. It’s just a short, pleasant taste, and then it’s gone.

All in all, it was a nice drink and I did enjoy it. Would I buy it myself? Probably not. But a mate gave it to me, so I was happy to give it a go.

Spiced, But Not Nice

Spiced, But Not Nice

Here’s another winter-edition drink. For some reason, I decided to try these now closer to summer rather than Christmas. But let’s get back to the drink itself: IRN-BRU Spiced Ginger & Cinnamon.

It’s not as good as the gingerbread Pepsi. I love everything cinnamon-related, but this one was lacking that note. You do get a lot of ginger, though, and that flavour really sticks with you. I’m not sure that’s what I want from a drink.

Needless to say, this was a one-time experience. I didn’t think about winter at any point while drinking it.
